Beans and Rice.....

OMG - second day and I am already writing another blog!! I can't believe it!! I think I am becoming blogewised.... Whatever that means - it makes sense in my head so I am going with it!! I am basically becoming one of those cyber nerds...

I think I am trying to eat the book - at least if I do starve I will always have the book!!

However the people at work aren’t impressed with my blog so far. Yes Merrell I am naming and shaming you! So we have decided to come up with a game focused around my lovely meal choices awaiting me in Costa Rica.... Beans and Rice. Anyone can do it – even you Mr Merrell... J hehe

Who can come up with the most creative 10 letter word from beans, rice and odders. You will be awarded with a prize so let the games begin....

The Greatest Show

I discovered today that I have no problem making self discoveries about myself but I struggle keeping them. I couldn’t tell you how many times I have made a new years promise to cut out the ice cream and to only eat one rather than the whole package of yummy biscuits… Have I ever stuck to it for more then two hours… the answer would be no! I have the intentions of keeping to it but I find that I give in and then beat myself up about it. I then feel bad having not stuck to a promise I only made to myself and before I know it I am eating two tubs of ice cream to drown my sorrows….. It becomes a vicious circle.. and today I finally figured out a way out of it. Cut myself some slack. I started thinking about how there were things I would have liked to do differently. Things I wish I could have said, things I wish I could have done and so on and then I realized that when we are younger we get cut some slack. We are excused for making “mistakes” or as I would call them learning opportunities...

Hello Hello Everyone :) Not long now. In exactly four weeks I will be starting Odds Building Ltd aprenticeship in Costa Rica..... hehe :) I still have not bought the ruck sack... Or the mosquito net, or the present for the host family... but hey there is snow in England so I have an exscuse... :) I have started this now to make sure I get in the habit of posting little snippets as if anyone knows be well they will know I will be fab on this to begin with and then I just forget... :) I was told the other day if I was going to do a blogg I would need to stick to it!! and it was said with stern words - yeah you know who you are and look I have started... :) A lot of people have asked me why? Why now? Well why not is my answer? Why not now? Each year I learn more and more that you can not predict what will happen, who you will meet, who will show you new ways of looking at life or who will hurt you but help you grow as result. I have decided that I want to follow what feels right...
